UNC-Chapel Hill prides itself on being the nation’s oldest public university. However, with that age comes the burden of old buildings. Many of Carolina’s oldest buildings lack accessibility for people with disabilities. While the university says it’s working to update some of the buildings, students say improvements aren’t happening quickly enough.
Some new statistics show that fewer people are going to four year colleges nationally, but the trends are somewhat different in North Carolina. As Jackson Lanier reports, some people are choosing two-year schools instead.
